Rosecomb leghorn??

Aren't leghorns supposed to be straight-combed?

They come in rose comb too

just like RIR.

I'm not sure. You would think so since rose combs are less prone to frostbite than a single comb.

Nothing wrong with variety

If you get tired of one, move to the other...

You will see rose combs too!!! There's even a photo of one in one of my books.

The rose-comb variety is more rare, but the single comb tends to have better fertility.

I prefer the rose-comb because of the awful chance of frostbite but I'm sticking with calm breeds from now on!

Same thing with my Sebrights. They're a little flighty, but only when scared. And the rooster isn't cocky at all.
