So one of our welsummer a has a red eye. She is acting normal, but, as stated, her eye has a bit of red. But only on the edge of her eye. Any and all input is appreciated. Injury? Disease?

It may just be a normal defect in the shape of her eye, but watch it for drainage or crusting, or for swelling around the eye which could be from a respiratory infection.

Thanks, :) we will keep an eye on it. Hadn't considered an eye shape defect... It is possible that she always had it and we are only noticing it now because she is bigger. Again we will watch her and be ready to take action if needed.
Eye shape defects... Something to do a little research on later.

Be careful I had a few chicks that eyes started going red eventually it became really red and swollen I gave her some medicine (can't remember the name) that you mix in their water it became well but another chick started showing this and it's eyes turned so swollen that it became blind and couldn't eat or drink in the end I tried all I could but it died. The rest of the chicks(3) died in a major heat wave they didn't have mites and I'm not sure what he had but I'll try to remember the name of the medicine.

Today we looked at Rosie again and her eye looked better! After some reading we have deduced that she simply had something in her eye. They were dust bathing and it is possible that something (likely dirt) got in her eye. Will check eyes regularly though, something we should have been doing already. Thank you Eggcessive and Cack-a-doodle for your replies.
