Roster and Hen What breed?

So i went and picked up a few birds from a local breeder. They had said they had spangled hamburgs which I had been looking for however when I got there the colors weren't right. I still got the bird because they reminded me of a speckled sussex but I'm wondering what they truly are. Would appreciate the help.

The look like Speckled Sussex to me.

Do those come as bantams as well? They are deffintly bantams just not sure what breed

The parents she had on site seemed to be thinner in the legs than the pictures I can find of bantam sussex but the coloring is dead on for a speckled sussex

I don't know; my SS all had spots on their early feathers. They would have more speckles by now. Give us an update when they get a bit farther along...

They could be spangled Old English Game bantams. Can you get a straight side on pic of them standing so we can see their normal stance and wing carriage?

akcountrygrrl nailed it. After looking up spangled oegb thats them for sure. She prolly said spangled and I assumed spangled hamburgs. The search still continues for some hamburgs but I still love the look of these guys

My pics weren't the greatest but the spangled oegb I'm seeing online looks just like the parent pair she had
