Roster stopping

My has recently become more aggressive. He recently bit me while I was holding clover. I also tried to pet him and he bit me.
However recently when I bend down to talk to them he will put the wing farthest from me spread out tight against his body and stomp around me. He normally lets me pick him up but today he was very squirmy. he is a 4 month old Golden Buff.
Can you help me stop this behavior.

Yikes. Well, I'll be honest with ya, stopping rooster aggression is a very hard thing to do since it's coded in their genes. I have never had a mean roo but I have this book called The Backyard Homestead and there is a section in it on aggressive geese. It says when the offending bird charges you, grab it by the neck and just hold it for a moment away from you. It sorta puts them in their place and teaches them that you are not to be messed with. Sounds mean, but ultimately not as mean as putting them in the stew pot.
