yeah, I've been babying them quite a bit since we got them as pets. btw, we had a different mallard drake stop by today while they were out and it tried to boss my two ducks around. the bottom one backed off a bit, but the top one kind of confronted him and got pecked for it, but mine pecked right back and drove him off. I'm kind of surprised it was the top one, as they're usually a bit more timid and goes with the flow a little more while the other one is the one who always wants their own way and usually acts a little more bossy.Sounds like u got some pretty close ducks, I'm jealous. Lol. Sounds like there just a tad bit too young yet to really determine there sex. One more thing to look for is the famous head bop that drakes do when around females.
