Hey everyone!
Since this is a Rouen duck thread, I though i could share my Rouen duckling science experience.
My ducklings names are Quackers and Cheese. Both of these ducklings lived inside for the first two weeks of their life. My experiment is to see if ducklings can still imprint 48 hours after being hatched. Quackers and Cheese are both Rouens, and Cheese is a crested duckling.
The ducklings are doing great. And while they have imprinted on me, they don't get too stressed when I leave them, because they have each other. I tried to upload their photos, but I couldn't figure out how. Can some one please tell me how?
I have raised chickens, but this is my first time raising ducks. I have heard that these ducks don't lay to often. Is this true? Also how can you sex young ducklings?

Question: my babies are getting their feathers in. I have Rouen that has a completely yellow bill already and some of the feathers that he is getting on this tail are a green/blue tint. Is that normal for a Rouen?
