Well i put our rouen drake in with our full grown cayuga hen today he's also with 10 7 week old pekins and 5 7 week old cayugas .

I got some great pics of my rouens today

My 1st flock ( 2 males one gray Rouen one pastel(some call it blue ) )

Second flock [is my Cayuga/mallard hen and one crested gray Rouen , a gray Rouen , and one pastel ( these are the sons of flock 1 ) ]

One morning I went out to spend some time with our drake. I set him on the bench next to me and after a short time he jumped in my lap. I found a spot just below the white ring on his neck that when gently rubbed makes him drowsy. Soon he tucked away one foot, closed his eyes and dozed off. Sitting there watching him was so peaceful I dozed of myself and my girlfriend snapped this picture of us both taking a mid morning nap.
