Rouen Duck

My husband hasn't finished the pond yet and I'm wondering will they be okay with their mom for a while or should I put a water bowl and food for them. So there's a white table in the field out there and I did that bc of the sun, it's been so hot out. And there's a picture of the pond. The other chickens and I think the turkeys are hiding behind the lattice. And you see the ducks are closer together now before he would chase away the other duck. It likes to hang out with the chickens bc they hatched together.

Males have a yellow bill, whereas females have an orange bill but I just don't remember the time frame of that development. So greenish might be indicative of the change to yellow. Here's my boy Ragnar.

Cute. So how to they stay green. The green in mine is fading away. I didn't think he was that old maybe 2.
