Rouen Ducks

I am new to ducks and was hoping someone will be able to tell me if my Rouen duck is male or female or if it is too soon to tell?? Thanks!

It's a bit too soon to tell. Some people can voice sex ducks, but I've never understood that. When they're probably 2-3 months, look for tail curling. Males have one or two feathers on their tales that are curly

Too young still. But here is a link on voice sexing. It is very easy to tell the 2 voices apart. http://www.majesticwaterfowl.org/artquacks.htm Does this little one have a buddy? They really, really need to be with at least one other duck or else they get depressed. That is unless you can spend 24/7 with them and be their buddy.

he/she was alone for about a week because they were sold out of ducks and had to get more in so we kept him/her with baby chicks until then. Now he/she has had 2 little friends for about a week and loves them!
