Rouen getting ready to lay 1st egg, when do I panic?

i can see the egg for the last two days in her fat pouch. She has zero problem eating a swimming but, it's been two full days of her trying to nest and leaving the nest to run over and pig out on treats. When Is she officially egg bound? She has oyster shell out, what else can I do? I recently added two new ducks to the flock. She has nesting boxes. Any ideas?

Can you open the vent and see an egg? she may just be fat right now........ducks when about to/are laying have a little fat pouch that may look like an egg. I would only worry if you can see an egg in there. Look and let us know

I can feel it in her fat pouch when I stroke her belly. When I check her I just open her vent like I would when sexing a duckling?

I have never worried about any of my Hens...Laying an egg is natural and if she seams healthy then leave her....
