rough egg

we got an egg today that was ruff to the touck the chicken that laid it is about six months old. Is there a problem I need to address. I have recently put the chickens in a new coop.

The occasional odd egg here and there, especially with pullets just starting to lay is usually no big deal as they are just getting their laying gear into swing. Sandpaper eggs can be caused by disturbances or things that upset the hens, so moving them to a new coop and the resulting fuss the chickens are going to have finding new roosting spaces etc I would consider a disturbance.
