Rough shelled eggs

Have a few hens that are 3 and 4 years old, and am getting some really rough shelled eggs. Any ideas?

Hi

Glad you could join the flock! CT has left you a great link to check out on egg quality problems. Often as hens get older their egg laying machine can start to deteriorate and some odd eggs can occur. If your hens are healthy, happy and seem well I would not be too concerned about the egg anomalies.
