Well not many people in the states have them or raise them but ive read alot about them but i really want to know peoples personal expirences with them cause things on the internet are confusing sometimes
Keep them in pairs. They need to be kept warm ,I've never gone cooler then 18 degrees celcius. They will build a large nest in a corner out of grasses ,I suppose you could use straw but dry grass is best.
Incubating eggs and rearing chicks by hand ?? Fat chance ,the chicks do very poorly without mom and tend to waste away. Let momma incubate and rear the chicks. Dad will help too. Chicks need lots of live bugs to stay alive ,IMO.
Other then that ,make sure they have a good diet and room to roam ,and their good to go
