Don't get me wrong. I love the guy. He's an excellent flock leader, great lookout and father, shuttles the stranglers up to roost at night, waits until everyone is either roosted or in the run before he takes his dust bath, very gentle with the girls. He just hates my guts and loves to let me know.

I don't think I've ever had an aggressive Salmon Faverolles male. They are very over-sexed. But that's my biggest complaint. The last one I had took on a Sharp-shinned or Coopers hawk. I've forgotten what species now. But it went after some chicks a broody had, and when I walked outside, he had it in the partially covered run flogging the absolute mess out of it. I had to go in there and save the little dude.
