was wondering if I could use Round-up a weed killer nearby full grown chickens
thank you

Round-Up is just all around nasty stuff. I wouldn't do it. It could not only hurt the chickens but if you eat the eggs it could hurt you too.

round-up is bad stuff for sure! use vinegar instead

We lost a hen last spring to our neighbor's over-zealous use of Round Up on a windy day :-( He never cared about his stupid old weeds for all those years we didn't have chickens ...

White vinegar on a hot day does a great job of killing weeds!

I don't use any kind of weed killer except my chickens I do pick weeds in the front yard and let the chickens eat them.

I second (or third?) the vinegar suggestion. Especially if you spray it on a hot day when the plants are needing water. That's what we use around our organic gardens as well.
