Hatching eggs available from purebred Royal Palm turkeys. All are purebred Royal Palms bred to the standard. Royal Palms are a smaller turkey breed that make a good Thanksgiving turkeys for a small family. As adults the hens are about 12 pounds and the toms are about 22 pounds. If you are using them for meat and want them to grow to their full genetic potential they should be fed a high protein complete turkey feed (not a layer feed). Can also be grown free range for meat, but should be given some supplemental feed and a good mix of forage to ensure proper growth. They are naturally mating and make good broodies. Will brood any kind of egg. Are stock are fed a medication and hormone free feed and are not vaccinated. We are not NPIP certified due to the high cost of this certification. Our flock is healthy and we very rarely have any sick birds. Eggs are collected from breeding pens with good fertility and hatch rates. We ship only fresh eggs, that have been checked for any cracks and individually wrap each egg for shipping. However due to factors out of our control (what happens in shipping after the box is given to the post office/incubation) we cannot guarantee a certain hatch rate. We do give a refund for any eggs that arrive cracked or broken in shipping if a picture showing the damage is emailed to us (so far we have not had a single cracked egg).
Eggs are $2 each and available in quantities of 1-18 eggs. (Larger quantities may be available as more hens begin laying). Shipping is generally about $15/dozen, varies by zip code. We will respond with a receipt showing total cost (including shipping and handling) for your order and an estimated ship date (requests are filled in the order that they are received, you will get the next available ship date). We accept money order, personal check or paypal. Payment details will be sent with your receipt.
