RRRRRG!!! Squirrels eating chicken feed! Ideas??

I caught 7 and there is still more! They are digging under the back wall and going in the chicken door. Please help. Feed is going about a gallon a week w/ THREE chickens!!! Also tried Critter Ridder all around (except where the chickens are) and they are walking right through it!



Edit: They and eating it out of the feeder.

we keep ours in a metal container.....in our coop. we have lots of squirrels and no problems so far. hope this helps

Try sprinkling cayenne in the feed. Should not bother the chickens, but burn the squirrel's mouths.

i had the same problem... had to squirrel proof with hardware cloth.

leave out a little cup of a drink with caffiene and they will drink and it makes them go crazy and die.
also gun powder will kill them

We have our feed in 50 gal trash barrels with lids. Try putting your feed in something other than leaving it in sacks and see if that helps.
