my RSL just dropped dead yesterday..
no puncture wounds
there was not a feather out of place.... she just dropped dead
there was no sign of illness nothing
this is bizzare, when my DD found her she was still warm and by the coop door they were just let out to free range at about 4 and at 6 she was found dead outside
I think this was my broody hen, i made sure she ate and drank she felt fine for body weight I tried to check the best i could for internal laying but everything appeared fine
she was 18months old what could have went wrong?
