Rubber mats

Does anyone have any advice on how to cut/trim rubber mats to fit in an odd sized area? These are the ones for horse stalls. 6' x 4' x 3/4 " thick. For use in a re-vamped stall/chicken coop area. Any advice greatly appreciated.
