Obeying her avian masters
So sorry @micstrachanSo Ruby ended up going back into lay about a week or ten days later. She laid around eight eggs, I think. But she swelled fight up, stopped laying and now she’s in trouble again. Poor girl. I’ll take to her back to the avian vet again assuming I can get her in this week. We may try another go at hormones or I’m considering euthanasia. Why do the ones with the best personalities have to have the worst genetics? Anyway, I’m guessing cystic right oviduct since she only has trouble when in lay, and the fluid is compartmentalized per avian vet who tempted to drain her on two separate occasions and was unable to do so.
I hope everyone else snd their flocks are doing well.

It does always seem to be the ones with the friendliest personality.

I hope the vet can do something for her.
