What is your location? What breeds are they? Do you have hens? Where do they eat? Can you place food for them inside your run, and lock them in there for a week? I am not sure that confining roosters to the coop for that long would be very safe, but usually when you want chickens to roost in the coop, keeping them in there 24/7 is how to train them.

Vt- Hedemore, Swedish Feather and Icelandic- 17 hens. The Roos have had to move around a lot as coop expanded and changed configuration so this is their latest. There’s shelter and a high roost for them but no- they want to stress me out all night

I don’t think they’d make it shut up that close for a week
