Rumpless breed with poopy bottom

Does anyone else have a problem with this? Is there something I can do to prevents this. I use ACV in the water and they get probiotics with scrambled eggs. The chick is 9 wks old.

Please. Anyone got a clue. I could shave her butt, but that sounds extreme.

Sound like pasty butt. Try washing it with slightly warm water and if that doesn't work you can trim the poopiest parts a little.

Sounds like pasty butt, however I've had plenty experience in knowing that some rumpless birds do have that problem permanently. Solving it in the future is usually by clipping the vent feathers so the poo won't stick.

Thanks for you response. I'll try triming her fuzzy but and see if that helps. I can't help but wonder when they were breeding this trait. Why didn't they think this might be a lifelong problem.
