I brought home a new hen yesterday that I was "told" was a sex link. (I just bought her because I thought she was pretty LOL) She's not quite old enough to lay eggs yet so I am eagerly awaiting that first one Meanwhile, I wonder if she is actually an Araucana mix of some sort? She is still in isolation so sorry for the awkward angle on the pics. She does not appear to have cheek tufts (yet) no semi plucked or short tail feathers at all. It's just bald there : | She has gold eyes and dark feet. In the pics she has a faint blue tinge but I don't see that in person. In the sun, she has black feathers with a greenish tinge. Any ideas??

She does I am fine with her being a SL I just really hope she's a hen! LOL

She's pretty skittish right now, but then I just got her. I hope that in time she realizes that I am not the boogey man LOL I haven't had a chicken yet that was friendly

I got some just like her...Easter eggers, basically...I have an Araucana roo who gives runpless offspring and even partaul rumpless or short, tiny tails...
