Rumpless Dixie Rainbow

I got 6 Dixie Rainbows from TSC 1 is a Roo and 4 look pretty similar but this one girl who I named Dixie has no tail at all not even the little tail nub that the feathers grow out of. What breed might she be crossed with to produce this?

A quick google search said possibly Rumpless Game Fowl but she dosnt really match the coloring.


It dosnt matter she is adorable I am just curious.

Scots Dumpy is the first thing that comes in mind with me, could also be an Aracauna cross

I doubt she's "crossed" with anything. It's probably either a recessive gene that cropped up, or a spontaneous mutation. I don't see a hatchery crossing some rare rumpless birds onto their Rainbows. Most hatcheries don't have rumpless birds, anyway.......

Dixie Rainbows are a cross between meat birds and egg layers. So she is by definition a cross. Just dont know of what breeds.
