Run and Coop overrun by wild birds - concerned about disease now

My hens have been traumatized by wild birds getting trapped in the run & coop for two days now. I'm pretty sure I've secured the run/coop by covering all possible entryways. BUT it is full of the wild bird droppings. I'm concerned that my hens will contract something from the poop or just being near the wild birds (lice, etc). Unfortunately I cannot remove all the droppings without doing some major disassembly of the structure, not til Spring anyway.

Should I be pro-active and treat them NOW for any possible disease or parasite infestation? And if so, what do you recommend?

Thanks, I appreciate any suggestion.

I've never liked pre-treating with antibiotics if you don't think they're sick, it just makes them less effective later.

If you're concerned about mites / lice you could dust them each with Sevin or something similar.

Personally I'd also give them some electrolytes and probiotic just to give them that little immune booster just in case then watch them closely for any sign of disease.

As soon as its possible I'd give the coup and run a good cleaning with a 10% bleach solution.

Good luck hope everythings okay

AJ
