Run area idea help please :)

Just wondering why you are making it so tall, unless that's how tall you are.

The wall itself on the shorter side is 6ft tall. Made it just tall enough for a door on the tall side. I wanted to be able to have a normal sized door and be able to walk around without bending over.

I only have a 4' fence for my chickens. I envy those with really nice covered runs!

My situation is a bit different. I have several pens but I have a lot of birds. My pens are all covered with good heavy duty netting. I also have electric wires around the coops and pens and concrete under the gates all due to losses from predators in the past. My fences are 5' tall. I like having a coop I can walk in too. All of my coops but one that was given to me I can walk in. I love it. I do use chicken wire for the perimeter fencing, but with the electric wires, nothing has penetrated. I have several game cameras up and see predators on them mostly roaming at night here. There are places where I have welded wire with chicken wire. Keep up the progress reports.
