Run cover

Hi I am wondering on what to use for a cover for my run I am looking for sum think like a net that is not vary expensive. I took a look at hardware cloth but it comes in rolls I am looking for sum thing that I can drape over the run and cut it to size.

What do you want the cover to do?
Keep chickens in or keep predators out?
Provide shade? Rain and snow protection?

We used bird netting, our only goal was to deter hawks. We bought two 7x100 rolls, laid them out in the yard the size of the run and zip tied all the pieces together in one big piece and then put it over the top. Works great! It was around $40 for both rolls.

Too keep birds in and keep predators out don’t wont too muck shade they are already under a tree.

We went with corrugated metal.

Not sure of the size of your run, but with our small coop/run, we are glad that we did (keeps most of the rain out and seems to prevent the forming of mud).
