Good morning....I have finished framing my run and would like feedback as to what else to do before I put the fencing on it. The run is 6 ft w and 12 ft long. It is attached to the coop at one end. I have 4 x 4 posts at each corner and a 4 x 4 post along each side at the midpoint of the length. The posts are connected at the bottom by 2x6's and at the top by 2x4's. I ran a 2x4 between the two middle four by fours. I did not sink the posts in the ground. So my question is what, if any additional supports should add before I attach may fencing. The run is just under six ft high....Thanks....

Without seeing it, I would make preparations to roof part of it for wet weather. Sloped slightly to shed rain to the downhill side. The chickens need a place to dust bathe and they can't do that in mud. The rest of the top should also be covered with some wire for hawks and raccoons.

I don't put posts in the ground either but I put them on deck blocks.

Sounds like you are "good to go". I typically will set my posts in the ground but it is not essential since you have upper, mid, and lower cross bracing. Too bad that you did not make the run a bit taller for head room. Hopefully you can wire in a sloped top or solid boards for shade over the run. Sloped up will also give you over 6 ft of head room down the middle.

Also, if it doesn't feel sturdy enough, think triangular shapes when bracing posts. Structures with 4 corners tend to be a bit wobbly, while triangular shapes can't be budged.
