That is gorgeous!! I love that idea. I'm still playing around with ideas on how to make a fence for the run and it still be decorative. I was thinking about a white picket fence type look and putting wire on the bottom half so they don't squeeze through - but with the suggestion to not give them somewhere to perch, I might be rethinking that idea. Love you fence!

I would just put bird netting over the top to keep out hawks and in chickens. I used stainless downrigger cable to keep it from sagging on mine but yours looks narrower than mine so you should be good without. I have my whole run covered so a hummingbird couldn't fly in and you can hardly notice it. I have eagles and all types of hawks, falcons and owls where I live so I take no chances. I got the bird netting from the farm store for about $14 and the peace of mind during the day is priceless. VEEEERY Nice looking setup by the way well done! Good looking birds too. Good luck!
