I need a little advice on how to attach the run to the new coop.

So i used the concrete deck blocks for the coop, and they stick out just a little bit far from the edge. I plan on using 4x4s for the corner posts of the run, so there will be about a 1-2” gap. Any ideas on how to fix this?
