I wish mine would just stick to eating things like paint or styrofoam, instead of plonking their backsides down next to my daffodils (which are poisonous) and carefully pecking the leaves off one beakful at a time and then spitting them out

i guess it's good they spit them out, but it would be much more considerate of them if they left them alone.
i had some planted in an old trough with some other flowers. they like to dust bathe in there when i sit in the chair by the door because it's close i guess. but they dug up all the bulbs a million times! just kicked them around. i thought they'd never survive, but they just bloomed!

also, the bulbs sort of look like eggs in there. i was half expecting them to try to hatch them

also. this morning there were hundreds of seagulls flying around. i wish i could have gotten them all in one picture. they were everywhere! but the sea is very far away.

i thought this was a brilliant picture to post today and now that i am here to post it, i'm not really sure how to go about explaining it
i'll give it a shot.
this is bedford row in limerick city. i have to go here pretty often and today was one of those days.

there is a guy from limerick originally from a comedy duo that got famous here for making funny songs. they did some television stuff too. they called themselves the rubberbandits and this guy is called blindboy boatclub. he does a podcast now and some documentaries and writes books. he wears a plastic bag on his head.
anyway. he dubbed this street "the birdsh** district" and talks about it on his podcasts sometimes. but now it has become a tourist destination for his podcast listeners. i think that's hilarious.

but as you can see from my picture today, the trees have been pruned and the street has been cleaned. he did that, i think.

i do listen to his podcast because he talks about everything and you never know what you're gonna get.

We had a very blue sky too yesterday as wel as today. And 17°C. Tomorrow they predict 19°C with clear blue skies. Ridiculous to have Mai/June weather early March.
