i guess it's good they spit them out, but it would be much more considerate of them if they left them alone.I wish mine would just stick to eating things like paint or styrofoam, instead of plonking their backsides down next to my daffodils (which are poisonous) and carefully pecking the leaves off one beakful at a time and then spitting them out![]()
i had some planted in an old trough with some other flowers. they like to dust bathe in there when i sit in the chair by the door because it's close i guess. but they dug up all the bulbs a million times! just kicked them around. i thought they'd never survive, but they just bloomed!
also, the bulbs sort of look like eggs in there. i was half expecting them to try to hatch them
