Run or free range?

We have mountain lions and coyotes. Heard of opossums eating the chickens yesterday. So I'm a little worried.

I rent on over 10 acres and can't afford to build a fence. The neighbors have guineas and they find refuge in the bushes. (They don't even have a coop at all!!!)

Maybe plant more bushes?

they'll go in trees too,, and rooftops ,, cars,,,hehe, bout anything off the ground

If the acerage is flat, perhaps adding dog houses, tables, bushes and other things they can hide under if they see danger. Even ply wood on a few blocks would work as cover.
