Run roof

If I don't put a roof on the run do I need to worry about raccoons climbing up the fencing to get in? I know with no roof I'd need to worry about an aerial assault but what about predators that could scale the fencing?

Yes, raccoons, opposums, weasels and foxes will all be able to scale a typical wire fence. Either cover your run or make sure you are there every evening to shut your birds in before dusk. Even then, you may still have the occasional loss during the day.
