Run shade. What to plant??

What is good to plant to give shade to a run. Our run is in the sun and is 12 feet wide. What would grow fast?

Whatever you decide to plant, make sure the chickens can't reach it. Mine have repeatedly picked off all the leaves on plants that I plant right next to the run to cover it. Right now I have some Jasmine that's starting out. I've got a layer of wire window screen between the chickens and the Jasmine. It will grow up over the screen reaching the Chain link high enough where the the birds can't get it. I've got Mulberry bushes out of their reach as well that will continue to grow and drop berries in there as a treat!
