I have 7 chickens (2 araucanas, 1 barred rock, 2 delawares, 1 buff orpington, and 1 blue wheaten ameraucana) we built our coop for four chickens, and we were wondering if there is enough space for the 7 of them? the run is 6'x4', and then we just added a 3'x4' part to the run, and then the inside part is 3'x4'.

Some helpful things to know:
I free range for a few hours every day
I don't have any bantams (but araucanas are pretty small)
I (hopefully) don't have any roosters
Inside the coop, there is an 11 lb hanging feeder, and a 3 gallon hanging waterer

Can you make the run even bigger? The general rule is 4 sq feet per bird in the coop and 10 sq feet per bird in the run. I find this size isn't really big enough to prevent pecking. If you can hang cabbage and other things to help them from getting bored it may help so they don't start pecking each other. They make plastic bits that prevent them from pecking feathers if needed. Good Luck!
