run space....

I know this is not a new or original question but.... how much space do I need in my run? I do not plan on letting my flock have free range of the yard, just their run space...how big does it need to be? My husband and I are debating logistics....

I read somewhere (probably here) that it's 10sq feet per chicken so that's how large mine is. They seem very comfortable, lots of room.
