Run that is attached to privacy fence

I'm in Portland, Oregon. We live in an area that has big yards and tons of backyard chicken enthusiasts, so fence lines aren't an issue in my neighborhood. We had an unused side yard that had privacy fence on one side, gate on another and the house on the other. It's about 35' x 12". We added a fence to the other end and have been quite happy with the result. We do have to clip three of the four chickens wings as I have a flock of flyers, except my buff O.

I just bought a new coop off Craigslist to replace this coop which will sit flush with the fence. It's still in my garage getting all fixed up for the ladies and it will be attached to their existing covered run, but this is what it looks like.

I leave the top of the run open and as yet have had no problems with hawks or other predators, although they have a couple of bodyguards in my chihuahua and fluffy black cat who like to go hang out with them. They have a 6' x 3' covered run which you can't see in the picture. I filled the run with sand and bark chips which drain the water and the pavers are a god send! I tip toe across them to where ever I need to go. Because they are so small, when the birds stand on them, they still poop off the side. I've had about 3 poops on the pavers all winter. I'm embarrassed to admit, I sneak out the window and across the pavers to get the eggs and clean, then back in through the window. Classy, I know.

I recommend sharing a few eggs over the fence. You're neighbors may not mind so much!
Good luck!
