"No, we aren't. Not yet." Hallie shot him a sharp look that seemed to be cut from stone.

"What pack are you from?" the strange wolf asked.

"Pinepack." Hallie said, straightening. "I'm the alphas' daughter."

"Whoopdedo," she mumbled, rolling her eyes.
"Shut up." Mason snapped at the she-wolf, still in front of Hallie protecting her.
"Why don't you SHUT UP, Mason?!?!?!" Hallie snarled, snapping her jaws together with a hollow clunk. "I can't exactly rip this she-wolf apart with you standing in the way!"

Cody wheeled around to face her. "Why are you always following me around?"
"'Cause you need a friend, that's why." Fyra's sentence had taken on a rather snippy edge, but it had gradually disappeared and formed into a compassionate statement.

A part of Cody felt touched by Fyra's kindness; but he was still grieving over Willow's death, and he needed space. "Who are you to decide what I need?" Fyra's paws began to tingle with the urge to leap at Cody and tear his face off, but she silently told herself to contain her fury. He was grieving, after all. Her and Echo had been almost obsolete after the horrible incident that had take away their parents... Echo. The name hit the bottom of her stomach like a thousand tons of bricks. She'd likely never see her sister again. Though siblings were annoying, they were siblings.

Fyra sucked in a breath and blew it out, stepping into view of Cody. "Listen. I know you're grieving. I am too; after all, she was my best friend. Have you forgotten that? I'm guessing so-" she paused, "-no wonder why you're acting like you're the only one in the world."

"What are you talking about?" "ARRRGHHH!!!" Fyra screeched, exploding like a time bomb. "YOU'RE. IMPOSSIBLE!!!"

"WHAT?!" Cody growled. "What is your problem? You're so confusing! I don't know what you're talking about!"

"Why don't you SHUT UP, Mason?!?!?!" Hallie snarled, snapping her jaws together with a hollow clunk. "I can't exactly rip this she-wolf apart with you standing in the way!"
Mason was really taken back. "Fine super brat... Nice hunting with you." He snarled. He walked away back to the densite.

Fyra plopped down on the ground, her snarl gradually fading. Her previous headache was coming back, roaring into her mind like raging wildfire. She got those often, and no wolf knew why.

Quote: ( Wren: *Joins in on evil laughter*

Linden: *Throws tiny head back in a puppy cackle* )

Wren and Linden were rather far off by now, as Wren had grown tired of constantly waiting for Linden and had finally picked the pup up by the scruff and quickened her pace to a sprint. They were heading towards PinePack borders, though they weren't at all sure of where they'd be in the end.

Faedon was following them, hiding in the cover of the spruce trees. Her blood was boiling and fury burned beneath her pelt, but she managed to keep her cool long enough to get ahead of them. She leaped right in front of them, and growled, "You got any reason you're taking my pup away, Wren?" She spat her sister's name as though she was some kind of vile creature. "Just a little adventure," Wren declared, her muzzle twisting into a sneer. "Don't believe me? Ask the pup."

Linden spoke when Wren set her down on the pine needle covered ground - actually, it was more like a squeal: "Awenturrre!"

As soon as Wren set her down, Faedon snatched her right back up. "Listen, Wren." Faedon's growl was low and dangerous, but too quiet for Linden to hear. "Linden is not your pup. If you set your jaws on my pup again, or take her away from me without my knowledge, I will personally tear your throat out. Got it?" Without waiting for an answer, Faedon began to lope back to the densite. "You and I are going to explore the territory today, and I'll show you how to hunt," she promised Linden. "Good luck even trying, junior," Wren sneered, her tongue lolling out of her mouth. Though she wouldn't betray the fact, Wren personally wanted to rip Faedon's throat out, herself; how come she hadn't found love yet and her sister had?
Mumbling to herself, she loped off in another direction, closing her eyes and sighing loudly. Just as she began to exhale, she tumbled backwards. A dark brown he-wolf stood over her, reeking of Darkpack.

Linden nodded eagerly.

As much as Faedon would have loved to have whirled around and clawed Wren's ears off, she decided to just take the high road and pretend that she didn't hear her. The pups were probably driving Girvan crazy right now, and she didn't want to keep him stuck in that den. "Remember to stick close to me," she warned. "We don't want to get lost."

She loped into the densite and headed over to her den. She thanked Girvan and dismissed him, and turned to her pups, "Pups, are you ready for an adventure in the mountains? We're going to learn how to hunt today, too!"

( OHMYGAWSH Orps, I hereby claim Starling! Starling and Wren... Match made in Heaven!
If that's alright with you, of course)

Wren inched backwards and drew herself up to her full height, which quickly dwarfed the stocky brown wolf. "Who are you?" she snarled, finishing the sentence with a throat-ripping growl.

"I should be asking you that," the he-wolf said calmly, "but I'll answer anyways: Barrow, from Darkpack."

"DARKPACK?!?!?!" Wren's eyes grew to the sizes of saucers. "Why aren't you ripping my throat out..?"

"Because I find it kind of hard to find an ethical reason to do that to an innocent she-wolf," Barrow replied matter-of-factly. "Anyways. You know my name; what's yours?"

"...Wren," she replied, her eyes gradually returning to their normal size.
