(Oh dear is right! Garnet is stubborn!)
"Who said I hated you!" She barked. "I actually really-" She cut herself off. "Just, c'mon." Misa turned around, facing away from him so he didn't see her blush."Don't." He pushed himself to his feet. "I'm not helpless. A second ago you hated my guts, now you're worried about my leg?" He growled and rolled his eyes.
With a sudden, horrible snarl, Garnet pelted forward into the hunter, teeth bared. She knocked him over, fangs inches away from his face.
Faedon narrowed her eyes to dangerous fiery green slits as the hunter came closer and closer to the boulders where Faedon and her pups were taking shelter. She knew that she should stay with her pups, but she could feel her instinct to destroy the threat to her pups roaring within her, begging to be unchained. She couldn't wait any longer.
With a terrifying, throat-ripping snarl, she surged forwards and leaped up to meet the man. He had been ready to fire the rifle he had in his arms, and Faedon clenched down on the barrel of the gun, swinging it away. It fired and sent a bullet blasting through the forest. The human, who was lying on the ground, was gasping for air; Faedon whirled around and charged towards him and attacked. The man screamed for two seconds, before it was cut short as he was killed.

Larch's sides shuddered as she took short, ragged breaths. "I'm... I'm alright... I think." On her shoulder, there was a perfectly circular wound bleeding out into her gray and white fur; it was a bullet wound, bt because of the adrenaline, she hadn't noticed it at all.
Girvan raised his snout to the wind and tried to get any whiff of his pack.
"I lead the hunters away from the pack...but I don't know if they all followed me! I need to get back so I can help them if I can. Would you like to come with me?" He took a hesitant step forward, grimacing as a wave of pain washed over him. He could feel where the bullet had sliced through the base of his neck. He didn't want to know how bad it was. The thought of his packmates in danger dispelled any other thought as he turned to the she-wolf to see if she would come with him. He noticed her wounded shoulder and he felt split in two. He couldn't not help anyone in need, it wasn't his nature.
"Do you think you can walk? I'm sorry...but there are pups!"
"Yeah, I can." Larch flinched as she put weight down on her paw and a searing pain shot through the bullet wound on her shoulder, but she needed to get away from here regardless. "I won't hold you back, I promise." Pain shone through her blue gaze, and yet determination broke through it. She stood beside him and was ready to follow him to wherever. She wasn't sure if she could trust him... But it was the only hope she had.
