"Good," Fyra sighed in relief, feeling an enormous weight she hadn't known was there lift off her shoulders. She cared about Cody, just as he said he cared--a lot--about her.

Echo entered the den as if she was welcome with open arms, and Fyra scowled. How she disliked her for her choices... but after all, Echo was her sister whether she liked it or not. At least she was here; just as she had been when they were left on the Stonepack border, left by their parents who couldn't be bothered in taking care of them.

"You okay, sis?" Echo asked, leaning down to examine the wound. She turned to Cody; "Should I get one of the alphas so you can rat me out?"

"If you haul your tail out of here." Cody's teeth were grit as though his jaws had been glued together. "In case you didn't get the message, I'd like to be alone with my best friend for a minute without having you prying. You have three heartbeats to get out of my den before you lose your ears."

"I'll have you know that I'm her sister and closer to her than you can ever dream of being," Echo snarled, snapping her jaws together; as a result, a hollow clank resounded off the den's rocky walls as she stalked out of the entrance.

"Sisters..," mumbled Fyra, a low growl escaping her throat. She turned her head to Cody, a sly smile spreading across her maw; "Best friend, eh?"

Cody would have loved to have just whirled around and snapped her muzzle in two, but since Fyra was there, he forced himself to keep his cool. "Since Willow's gone, yeah," he replied bluntly. A part of him almost wished that it was more, but he felt guilty about that. They'd never been mates, and even if they had been, she would have wanted him to move on, but it still felt wrong, loving someone other than Willow.

Wait, love?

Fern knew she didn't have long, her vision was getting blurry and dark around the edges. She stared at her little pup...if this was to be the end, she wanted the last thing she saw to be him.
( do you want her to die?)

(Owl...should I kill her off? It certainly would drive Emeraldpack off the edge if both a pup was stolen and two others were orphaned...but I do like Fern...and she could theoretically still escape and survive with the injuries she has sustained...)

( to be honest I feel horrible about what Destoe is doing to her I have never had one of my characters kill another character espichally one that is trying to protect her pup)

Garron sig
Girvan shook his head and yawned. "We'll...I'm tired. Watching you run around has made me sleepy. Get thee gone so I might rest in peace!" He laughed. But his face became softer and he looked her in the eyes,"but...come back tomorrow. Please? At least...if you get the chance..."

Garnet nodded, "I will." She padded out of the den, head still swimming.

Garron sighed and lay back down. He wondered if Senka would pay him a visit...and what kind if mood she would be in today...

( D'AWWW!!!!! Let the giggle fest begin! )

Fyra seemed satisfied--albeit very confused--with the answer and began lapping at blood that still seeped from her bullet wound, unaware of Cody's... feelings. The pain was still excruciating, but it hardly held a candle to when she first had been shot; she was much calmer than she was then.

Looking back up at Cody with a caring rather than mischievous yellow gaze, something struck her heart..: Love.

(( Same, except about having a charrie kill off another. She's your charrie, so it's ultimately your decision, but killing her off just seems really cruel. :( I could kill Stone instead, so that she doesn't have to die; I haven't really used him much. So, yeah; it's your decision, but I would like her to live. ))
