(Ughh.. Why does this remind me of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron? I'll respond in a little while. My mom is being a... yeah, I'm sure you can think of a word for me.)

Rivalone shrugged. "I've been fine...there isn't much to do though. We have few members and all are capable, hard working warriors...there is no need to care for pups or elders. Everyone catches there own food. We work together but as separate pieces. I mean, "she hesitated, "There is always the pack to think of as a whole...but there are too few jobs for all of our able bodied warriors! I guess I have always needed something to do to make me feel useful...that's all." she said shyly, dipping her head in embarrassment and hoping he wouldn't think she was complaining. She loved her pack...would die for her pack...it was just that there just wasn't any progress in the pack. They hadn't tried to expand their borders in months and not one decent battle in what seemed like forever.

Gryphon smiled, his deep auburn eyes dancing in the light of the dying sun making them almost gold. "I'm Gryphon." he said softly. "This is my home...well...It's what I call home anyway."

(flirt flirt flirty-flirt)

Willowpelt's piercing blue eyes sparkled in the dim sun. She howled, waiting for the moon to rise. The rock became cold, she shivered.

(XD)

Gyphon watched her howl but didn't make a noise. He did not like drawing attention to himself unless it was in the dark of night. He did not want the wrong wolf to find his lair...

Especially the wolf who had been chasing him all his life.

A cool wind ruffled his sleek pelt, his teeth catching the last rays of the sun as as he yawned. Slowly...it set behind the mountains. He simply sat there and enjoyed the company of another wolf.

Williowpelts long grey tail wrapped around Gryphons. She scooted closer to him, enjoying having him around. She really liked this wolf, she thought that it could be love. (IM BACK!!!!!))

Gryphon looked at her and raised an eyebrow. He didn't mind it but it was most unexpected to have a complete stranger offer such a caring gesture. If it had been another wolf he may have snarled and drove them away...but she was rather pretty. He tensed when she first did it but kept staring out at the pink and purple sky...above them the sky darkened but he didn't feel in the least tired. "I-I'm sorry," she said to him when she felt him tense up. "The sunset it beautiful," she stated. What was left of the sunlight shinned on her beautiful pelt as her eyes sparkled. Now she knew he loved him, yet it was to soon to tell him that. She laid down next to him.

Gryphon, being a quiet and wise wolf, would have been fine spending the rest of the evening silent, sitting with his new acquaintance. But he knew it would be polite to make small talk so he tried it. "So, Willowpelt. Have you been a loner for long?" Willowpelt nodded. "My whole life. And you?" She asked. Willowpelt wondered if he liked her too.

Gryphon nodded his head slowly. "Yes. But since I have found this spot my wandering spirit has been appeased...it is lovely, is it not?" He asked simply, motioning to the view of the valley and the mountains rising above them in the distance wreathed in the sunset, the river glinting. "Yes it's lovely," she said. "I'm thirsty," Willowpelt said.

Gryphon shifted and pointed with his tail to his right. "Just down there is a little spring that juts out from the side of the rock. It's barely a trickle but the water is clear and good."
He smiled and winked, "But if I keep telling you all my secrets you'll just steal my spot away from me!" Willowpelt nodded. She began to walk off the rock. She turned her head back at Gryphon. "Wanna come?" She asked, strutting around.

Gryphon stood and slowly stretched. "Mmm...I might as well. I am a bit parched." he yawned. He jumped down smoothly, not making a sound as he landed softly for his great size.

(Guys, recap, please? Over 300 posts. I think I'm entitled.)

((I don't know everything that has gone on...but I know that Fern of Emerald pack is lying close to death because she tried to save her pup from being stolen bu Darkpack. Klash and Misa are going to have pups...I think....and, I'm sorry...It's really fuzzy. Don't know much else. Wanna roll play with Girvan and Garnet and Wish?))

The next day, Scar gave Piper a rest.
For the fist time in a week a small smile could be seen on her face as she raced through the territory...exhausted though she was.
She rushed into the clearing she had met Garron in and sat down in the leaves, panting, waiting, hoping.

Gryphon pushed it closer to her and winked. "It's a hare. Not much but I've had all I want. You can have the rest." he looked out to the view from his rock. His den was situated below the huge bolder and he loved the spot. "What's your name? Since you are going to sit on my rock and eat my food I might have the privileged of knowing your name at least."

"Oh um thanks," she said. "I'm Willowpelt and who are you?" she asked.

Gryphon smiled, his deep auburn eyes dancing in the light of the dying sun making them almost gold. "I'm Gryphon." he said softly. "This is my home...well...It's what I call home anyway."

(They're totally falling in love.)

Willowpelt smiled. She walked next to Gryphon, curling her tail around him every once and a while. She enjoyed being with him.
