Kado yelped when his head broke the surface of the water. "I didn't mean IN the water!" He tried to swim away. A stream of dark, muddy water flowing off of him. "Cold, cold, cold." He gasped each word.

Poppy tried to speak but she didn't want to get water in her mouth. Her head broke the surface, mud trialing behind her.

Girvan plucked Kado up and scrubbed behind his ears. "Believe me...when your mother doesn't find out about this little incident you'll thank me. I, for one, don't fancy being torn to shreds." he tossed him back in and dove underwater, relishing the cool feel.

"I'd rather feel the rath of mother, thanks." Kado said grumpily when his head broke the surface. He swam to the bank and climbed out of the water. He shook out his fur, sending bits of mud and water flying.

Girvan surfaced and grabbed Poppy, bringing her to shore with him. When Kado shook himself, Girvan and Poppy were hit full in the face with flying mud and water. Girvan put Poppy down and laughed. The HE shook all the water out of his coat. Triple the amount of water splashed on the pups as he finished with a satisfied flick of his tail.
"Sorry. But it's for your own good!"

Russet toyed with a pine cone in a dreary manner. His tail shifted right to left whenever he tossed his toy. He let a blow of air through his lips, then felt a spurt of energy and showed his teeth to the menacing brown, prickly thing, and tackled it to the ground. Once his shoulder hit the dirt though, his energy was gone. He flopped on his back and sighed. 

(( I just looked at Russet's picture and he is CUTE! ))


Linden walked out of the den, as nonchalantly as possible as to not draw any attention to her escape. When she saw Russet, her grim expression quickly morphed into one consisting of a goofy grin and eyes sparkling with mischief as she hurried over. "I say we go have some fun," she whispered.

"Whhyyy." Russet moaned. "We'll just get caught." he whipped his tail over to a patch of grass where Phoenix was sitting, watching the whole densite. He knew his pups were adventurous. 

(Haha! I'll go find Linden. )

"Not if we aren't seen," Linden retorted, whipping her own tail over to the nearby forest. Little did she know that Darkpack's land was through that forest. "Come on! I'm bored, and I want to see if there are any other pups around!"

Poppy made her grumbling way back to the densite beside Girvan and Kado, still trying to shake all the water out of her ears.
She saw her siblings and raced over. "Whatcha doin'?
