Girvan was in pain but managed to bowl his opponent over. But he lost his balance and tumbled over next to the wolf, his teeth tearing out a chunk of hair.

Jake yelped. He stood back up quickly, growling.

Girvan stood quickly too, eyeing his adversary. "You fight well. I like how you werent phased by my attack. You are strong. How bout we part friends and you join Stonepack? Stonepack it good to loners like us. "

Jake thought for a moment. "Could you give me some time to think about it?" he asked. He had never really wanted to join a pack before, but it was starting to get kind of boring, always being alone...
 
Girvan nodded and sat down, licking his scratched shoulder. "Sure. I won't tell anywolf about you and we can meet back here in a few days...that is if we are not being attacked. You can consider and decide whether or not to join."

"Okay." he agreed and began walking away.
 
"Girvan nodded and walked back to camp. He hoped that no one would notice his wounds. They weren't really bad...just painful. And they might raise questions from his packmates. He rolled in some dirt to hide them and grabbed a big branch for the defenses. He walked back into camp
