Vashti sat alone in Darkpack camp, calmly eating her dinner. Her eyes glittered with anticipation of battle. Soon...very soon her pack would show the weaklings in Stonepack what real fighting looked like. She had always looked up to Kodiak for his ability to strategize each situation and had spent years teaching herself to think fast. She had missed out on any recent skirmishes and pack hunts...Vashti was bored and wanted to test her skills in a real fight.

Kodiak had perched himself at the ridge of the alpha's rock. His steel blue eyes that seemed to have been cut from ice observed the densite through narrowed, slitted eyes. Although Willow had betrayed them, the plan was still going well; he'd given her some scars to remember, and he still had a set of eyes watching Stonepack from the inside...
