Quartz silenced herself, her paws shifting uncomfortably as she thought about fighting. She knew Senkah was right about avenging Willow, but she'd never been the best warrior.

Cedar paused when she saw Willow's expression change. "It's okay, Willow," she said, her voice muffled greatly by the moss in her mouth.

"No, it's not," Willow mumbled, craning her neck to lap at a shoulder wound. "How am I supposed to... fight Darkpack like this?"

Cedar set down the moss and pawed at some of the cobwebs she'd brought in. "You don't have to fight today. Once you've been healed you can come with us to chase them out of all the territories!"

Willow was just about to say that she didn't want to fight, but she decided against it. That would sure make Stonepack suspicious that there was more to her than meets the eye, and she at least wanted to lay a few blows to Kodiak and Atra before she died.

Brook trotted through the loner lands with Falcon trailing behind her. She was searching for prey and wasn't having any luck. She tested the air. Nothing, she thought and kept moving. Falcon asked,"Can I hunt with you today?" Brook said,"No." Falcon pleaded,"Please? You never let me hunt with you. Can I at least watch? Brook turned and stared him the eye and replied,"Remember last time I let you come with me and watch? The rabbit was right there and I was about to catch it until you had to sneeze!" Falcon defended,"The dirt smelled weird and I was trying to identify the scent!" Brook rolled her eyes and started to slow down as she recognized pack scent. Maybe I will have better luck there, but I will have to be quick, she thought to herself and said sternly,"Stay right here and don't go anywhere. Do you understand?" Falcon reluctantly said,"Yes," but on the inside, he thought, Yeah right! I'm coming with you no matter what. "Good," Brook said and cautiously went into a pack's territory. Falcon waited patiently until he knew he could follow her without being detected.

(I already posted a hunting bit a few pages back, so I'll continue from there and join in with you. :) )

Duke chased after Charlotte. "Char that's my rabbit and you know it!" He snarled at her as he ran. He heard her chuckle over her mouthful of rabbit. He was so preoccupied with chasing his sister that he didnt realize where they were until he caught the scent of unfamiliar wolves. "Charlotte, stop!" She came to a halt and dropped her rabbit at her feet. "What?" She snapped at him. "We're in the loner territory." He replied and then continued to sniff the air.

Senkah bit back an exasperated sigh, and she leaped down from the alpha's rock. "This meeting is closed. I will discuss the war with Hades tonight. In the meantime, work on reinforcing the densite. If Darkpack attacks us, the last thing we need is having a densite full of weaknesses." At the end of that, she added with a slight snarl as a warning, "Everyone better be working. No excuses." With that, she turned and padded back into her den. "Willow, how are you feeling now?"

"Like I got fire in my gut," Willow replied, glancing at Senkah rather wryly with dull amber eyes. "And, oh, yeah, like I just got hit in the paw with a tree trunk. Also known as Kodiak. Where's Cody?"

"I tried to patch up her injuries the best I could," Cedar said, setting down some bloody pieces of moss. "I need to get some more cobwebs." She stood to leave.
