Echo had surged back into battle, and was pinning Fern down on the dusty ground, her eyes showing the menacing wolf under her caring self. She had this wolf, and she could see the fear, plain as day, in her eyes. If she just sunk her teeth into her neck, Fern would be done, once and for all...
