( Two people living in Oklahoma were sitting on a bench talking and one says to the other, "Which do you think is farther away... Florida or the moon?"
The other turns and says: "Hellooooo, can you see Florida..?"

Although this is a joke, it is somewhat logical... )

"I found a herd of elk. It's a few miles from the Tundrapack border. They're moving east; they'll cross the border by tomorrow, so if we want one of them, we have to catch them today."
"Well..." Nyx knew Emeraldpack was doing fairly well with hunting, for this time of year. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to cache more food in case that didn't last. "I'll gather some of the pack for a hunt. I want to make sure we're dealing with some older or sick creatures first." She turned back toward Storm, wondering what he thought.
Storm trotted toward them. "We should go now. Lark, about how big do you think the herd is?"

Faedon and Cody were practically riveted to Willow's grave.
Wren stood next her sister, glancing at the mound of dirt that marked Willow's resting place and quickly looking away. Fyra and Echo sat side-by-side on the opposite side of the grave, an unspoken truce between them at the moment, staring at seemingly nothing.

(( What now? ))
( Dance party.

Well, I have no earthly idea, really. I had this weird picture in my mind that they would start blaming themselves for Willow's death and everybody would keep contradicting another and say it's there fault and such... that always seems to happen, even for the most ridiculous reasons.

They can go back to the den site and Echo can talk to Senkah about

spying for Stonepack.

Seems logical to me... )

(( Okies ))

( Yayzas. This is going to be so fun.
I'm sorry, Echo dear, but I must do this... )

Once back at the den site, Echo had reached a decision of how to get revenge on Darkpack- the topic that was surely consuming everybody's minds as well as hearts. She would talk to the alphas about this, but regardless of what they said, she would do it; kick her out if Senkah and Hades would like, but she had her mind set and nobody could change it.

Approaching the alpha den, she took a deep breath and opened her maw in preparation to speak: "Senkah? I wish to speak with you."

Senkah raised her head from the rabbit she was eating. Her blue eyes seemed to pierce into the depths of Echo's soul. "Yes, Echo? Come in."

Echo stepped inside the den, the lowering sun outlining her muscular form with golden light, seemingly unfazed by Senkah's burning eyes. She was somewhat afraid of the reaction, so she said her thoughts quick: "IwanttospyonDarkpack."

(( Somewhat being the key word here ))

Senkah narrowed her eyes slightly as she heard this. She flicked her ear, as though she was shooing away a fly. "And care to explain why?" Senkah was fairly certain why, and she didn't like it.

"It's huge. At least a mile across."
"I'll help!" Muri exclaimed brightly, trotting over to the threesome. "I love hunting. Have you seen Nikko at all, anyway?"

"No, I haven't." Lark twitched her ears as though she was shooing away some flies. And to be frank, I don't care where he is. Lark wasn't sure why the she-wolf seemed to have taken such a liking to him; in Lark's eyes, there was nothing likable about the he-wolf.
