Storm and Nyx returned to the densite, completely oblivious to what was going on.

A black he-wolf with gray-blue eyes observed the Pinepack densite, his maw turned up into a critical, but pleased, expression that closely resembled a smile. The recent weather had left the ground slushy and wet, spreading countless puddles about. Streaks of golden sunlight snaking through the green needles of the trees surrounding the clearing in which the densite lay melted the last of the snow on the ground, turning the frozen substance into water that eventually filtered into the burbling creek close by. The songs of robins was as bright as a summer day, promising the return of spring after a long and bleak winter that mostly consisted of curling up in a den to try to escape the frigid blasts of air.

Storm and Nyx returned to the densite, completely oblivious to what was going on.

Wren woke up from her peaceful sleep as she heard the whimpers of her sister, as her den was right next door. Curious and a bit worried of what could possibly be wrong, she groggily lumbered over to the den of Phoenix and Faedon. To her amazement, once she entered she was greeted by the clean scent of something she could barely recognize, but it came to her in one mind-blowing realization- she was an aunt.

"Ma?" Wren mumbled to Senkah sleepily. "Am I still asleep or is this real life?"

Although Wren was almost completely sure her eyes weren't deceiving her, she still couldn't believe this was actually happening.

"You're welcome." Garron looked at her for a second longer, before he began gnawing at the duck's wing again. Around Pinepack, Garron was perceived to be rude and antisocial, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Indeed, he was withdrawn and shy, but he was very kind.

Piper summoned the courage to speak, "And I, too, know the feeling..."
