Wren noticeably cringed at realizing how weak her retort was, and winced as he continued laughing. Twisting her muzzle in a furious snarl that she didn't feel, Wren replied: "Maybe so, but I have a whole pack behind me that comes at a simple howl and could rip you to shreds in milliseconds."

"Oh we got a badassembly over here!" He laughed. "How about you go back to your little pack and leave the loner land for the real loners."

Klash lifted his head to look at her. Anger still filled his eyes. "You wouldn't understand." He said with a growl.

Vashti chuckled and lay down next to the mouth of the cave. "No...I probably won't. But I don't need to understand. I have found that stating my problems out loud helps sort them out in ways I will never understand." she looked at him patiently.

Comet was marking the borders of Darkpack when he ran onto Destoe and a loner. His hackles raised and lowered as he came over. His tone was kind. "So...what's going on over here?"

Duke and Charlotte stood just outside of Stonepack territory, waiting for Pitch to meet them.

"If he doesn't get here soon, I'm going without him." Duke grumbled.

"Fine." Charlotte snapped in response. "You can go, but I'm staying here until he gets here."

Duke was taken aback by her response. She didn't normally get snippy with him. "Fine, I'll wait." He mumbled and looked off into the forest to see if there was any sign of Pitch.
